Another part of your life that significantly changes when you have depression is your sleeping patterns. This can be in the form of either insomnia or sleeping for longer hours.
Insomnia and related sleep problems can be direct signs of depression in women. If you are waking up in the middle of the night, struggling to fall back to sleep, depression might be the reason for it.
If you’re suffering from depression you’ll crave more sleep even after a full night’s rest, you have no energy and feel like you could spend the whole day in bed, and it’s not like a fun day in bed surrounding by snacks binge, watching your favorite show, we’re talking about laying in bed all day doing nothing with no desire to get up.
